East Farms Scanner Feed

The East Farmington Volunteer Fire Department has a scanner located in their station that receives multiple area fire departments.

Here are the channels that you may hear:

  • Farmington Fire Department Dispatch
  • All Farmington Fireground Frequencies
  • UCONN Health Center Operations - Used to Dispatch UCONN Rescue 2 (Used for Advanced Life Support for Farmington and other departments)
  • Avon Fire Dispatch
  • Burlington Fire Dispatch
  • Plainville Fire Dispatch
  • Newington Fire Dispatch
  • West Hartford Fire Dispatch
  • Canton Fire Dispatch
  • Simsbury Fire Dispatch
  • All Intercity/Mutual Aid Fire Frequencies Used By Farmington

PLEASE NOTE: Farmington is a "Priority Channel." This means that even if there is radio traffic on another channel, and Farmington Fire Dispatch starts having activity, the scanner will switch to the Farmington Fire Dispatch channel.

Also note, that channel availability changes based on varying conditions that effect the travel of radio waves and therefore the reception of different frequencies.

The audio streams are hosted for us by RadioReference.com to help with both traffic, and also provide archives for radio traffic. Visit their site, where you can hear scanners not only in Connecticut, but across the United States.

You may also listen to the feed without having to visit the website by selecting one of the versions below. We reccomend you have either Apple iTunes or Microsoft Windows Media Player installed for best results.

Listen using iTunes (M3U) format

Listen using Windows Media (ASX) format

Listen using Real Media (RAM) foramt

TO REPORT A PROBLEM WITH THE FEED CLICK HERE. Please use discretion when reporting problems of "No Audio". There may be little activity on the scanner if there are no fire/medical/rescue problems in and around our community. It is not uncommon for nothing to be heard on the scanner for about an hour at a time.
