We are a combination department of Volunteer and Career Firefighters & EMTs.
 
Our current membership at East Farms Station includes approximately 45 Volunteer Firefighters – 8 of whom are ranking line officers and 4 of whom are social officers who oversee the East Farmington Volunteer Fire Department, Incorporated. 

Three Career Firefighters from IAFF Local 3103 staff the East Farmington Fire Station Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 5pm. 

Line Officers
There are 8 line officers that are elected by the membership – Chief, Assistant Chief, and Deputy Chief are elected every other year and 2 Captains and 3 Lieutenants are elected annually. 

Social Officers
There are 4 social officers that oversee the East Farmington Volunteer Fire Department, Incorporated – President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary who are elected annually.
